Hiking Trolltunga & Wildcamping in the Snow

While in Norway, Harvey and I decided to do an overnight hike and wildcamp to the famous viewpoint, Trolltunga. We were met with unexpectedly wintry conditions in May and I had my first experience of camping in snow.

Awesome video! I spend a lot of time in Stavanger, Norway so lucky enough to have been to some cool places. Trolltunga is defo one of those! Next time head to Lofoten for 1 week in the summer....you will not regret it!! That place will blow your mind!

Hi, great to see you two! Snow makes wild camping a special experience 😃 It's best if you go warm in the bag and have boiling hot water at your feet - makes all the difference. Enjoy🙌

Good idea!! I think I might try filling my water bottle with hot water next time so I don't have to carry a hot water bottle. Will definitely try it out. Thanks Matias :)

I think Trolltunga is the viewpoint used by base jumpers , and folks with wingsuits to have mega jumps

Just curious. What time of the year did you make your hike up to Troltunga? The weather looked to be in the time period when a hiking guide is mandated.
