We picked the PERFECT day for a hike up Turtleback Mountain!
Turtleback Mountain (also known as Caballo Cone) overlooking Truth or Consequences, NM. It is a strenuous, steep, rocky out and back hike, only about 4 miles total, but nearly 2000' of elevation gain.
