Baeknokdam on Hallasan Mountain, the highest mountain in South Korea, the charms and preparations for hiking in the rain, and an introduction to the Seongpanak-Sara Oreum-Baeknokdam-Gwaneumsa course!

About Hallasan Baeknokdam:
- South Korea’s highest peak at 1,950m above sea level
- Baeknokdam, volcanic crater at the top of Hallasan Mountain
- The wonderful nature of Hallasan Mountain, designated as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site
- Seongpanak ~ Sara Oreum ~ Baeknokdam ~ Gwaneumsa (total 18km, 9hr)
🚶 ♀️ Hiking course and precautions:
- Seongpanak Course: Approximately 9.6km, takes 4 to 5 hours
- Gwaneumsa Course: Approximately 8.7km, takes 4 to 5 hours
- What to bring for hiking Mt. Halla in the summer: non-slip hiking shoes, thin windbreaker, hat, arm sleeves, behavioral clothing, and at least 1.5L of water.
- Entry time: 5 a.m. at Seongpanak Gwaneumsa Temple, recommended to enter the mountain by 8 a.m. at the latest 🚍
