first of all great video! Seems like started from the north side (La Flor)? Do you think we can do the hike on our own without a guide? We already have experienced hiking volcanos up to 4000m. Thanks for your answer in advance!

Hi! Thank you! Yes you could do it on your own. The path is very well marked. That being said you can support the local guides it’s not expensive and Nicaragua is one of the poorest country in the world - it’s good to share ;-) Enjoy guys! Amazing country. Make sure the weather is more clear than for us!

Thanks for the reply! ;) Yeah I know, I am from Guatemala and doing a 10 month volunteering here in Nicaragua, so I am short of money... about 50$ (group of three) seems extremely overpriced compared to local guides in Guatemala.
