Ever since summiting Mount Bogong for the first time back in 2020, we knew we had to do it again! Taking our son to the top made things a little bit harder logistically (and physically for Matt) but we made it!
We took lots of rest breaks and let our son out of the carrier to crawl around but while we were moving he was very content in the Osprey Poco Plus! He even had 3 naps, I'm shocked.
We ascended and descended via Staircase Spur which was very hard, with a 1,290m elevation gain but it was the most direct as we didn't have a 4WD this time. We passed Bivouac Hut but unfortunately didn't have the extra time to check out Cleve Cole Hut, we will have to do that next time!
