I have been with my husband now for 17 years and to be honest we have done most things together…..watching this video of you both doing this experience together is so nice, do you both just decide to do this and if so do you have to plan in advance and book a guide? We are both in our early 50’s but watching you both and the way you are with each other reminds us of how we used to be, we both love each other as much now than we did then but taking 20 years out to raise 2 beautiful kids kind of stopped our journey, we are now at a stage we’re our kids have flown the nest and are on there own journey…… hopefully we have another 30 years to live but maybe the first 10 of them is the time you carry on with both our lives before we get to old to do these things. Please carry on doin what you are both doin and experiencing together as life passes you by so quickly ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The permits have to be bought at least a month prior to make sure and they are around 800 $ pp. It’s expensive but also breathtaking :) but unfortunately the 20% that are supposed to go into the communities doesn’t end up there (at least that would mean 36 gorilla families, 8 people per family times 800x0.2 = 46,000 USD daily. There wouldn’t be a single house without running water if that was actually the case. We love corruption

How far is kololo Kampala in Uganda? My mum was born there but moved to the UK in the late 70s. She passed away at 52 yrs old and never got to go back. I would love to visit in her honour and see all of the places she descibed to us.
