Very true. This was Sanjay Dutt's best character ever and he played it amazingly. Arshad Warsi lived the character of Circuit and Boman Irani was the perfect antagonist.

@@vegtaprince absolutely true! Although Hindi industry is going through a bad time now, we have to accept that they are also a top teir industry. The remakes we did of their 3 idiots & Andhadhun was also very inferior!!

Kamal did excellent in this role , Kamal speaks Chennai pettai tamil slang , What original , if a person acts in that movie at first instance , can it be considered as best ? What if an actor act in that role based on a movie which was taken at first instance could be considered as interrior one ? Kamal plays in an unique way with a particular slang of a language in an impeccable mannar and prakash raj is not pushover also and both of them did perform the role in a faultless way was an admirable one. If sanjay dutt did this role based on Mumbai dada's slang in his own way that cannot considered as a yardstick to say that others performance as an inferrior one , moreover as an acting wise sanjay dutt nowhere comes near to kamal's caliber more particularly kamal's versatility . Kamal came into bollywood acted in variety of character by speaking in their own language without getting his voice and gave hit movies and also spoke in their dialects also , Can sanjay dutt act in a Tamil movie by speaking in Tamil in various slangs as a hero by giving hits ? It will never ever happen at wildest dreams , in that situation how could say that kamal's performance was inferrior one to the so called performance in the original movies ? If an actor acted in a movie which was taken at instance and that performance alone should be taken as yardstick of performance , cannot be accepted at all . Kamal's performance goes beyond the so-called orginal one , Kamal's style of comdey far far supperior than the so called orginal performance of sanjay dutt and more over this warsi's acting skills in way cannot considered on par with Prakash Raj . Sanjay Dutt was just a one dimensional actor but Kamal is method actor and a versatile actor the formar was never in league with Kamal in terms of acting ever . Kamal was acting in different kind of lingustic background with its own slang of that language in different kind of co actors who were different kind personalities with their own acting skills which was never inferrior or matched by Hindi actors namely prabhu and Prakash Raj .

@@ELP1791 dude!! No need to be defensive!! Read my comment again I already accepted that Kamal is the great Indian actor ever. What I was talking about was the movie as a whole Munnabhai MBBS is the original and directed by Hirani who is a masterclass is these kind of movies. Plus Arshad warsi comic timing and dialogue delivery is impeccable. Boman Irani just owned the character as Dean of college with unique mannerisms. Prakash Raj was just like any other strict college professor!!
