Coach Javier Mendez is in avid Instagram filmography, he is always capturing Khabib Nurmagomedov and his Dagestani brothers on film during camp. These Funny moments are captured with a bit of egging on by the Coach, who captures DC (Daniel Cormier), Umar Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev and other fighters having fun. It is true that Mixed Martial Arts is an extremely violent and competitive sport. Yet fighters like to have fun, and get in a bunch of laughs while enduring a very tough training camp. There is usually a competition or two between DC and Khabib, oftentimes it is about who is the most alpha. Sometimes DC concedes, but more times than not he is letting him know that he is in charge. Coach Javier always seems to have his camera ready at the right moment and is quick with a question that will bring out the funny side of Khabib. If you spend all day taking punches and kicks to your body, it does not hurt ot have a sense of humor to move on to the next round.
