English is the official language of Uganda. It’s spoken more than Swahili.

There are over 50 tribes in uganda with their own languages and english is the unifying language.

To be fair, alot of east african countries will have the english and non english news separately so everyone can understand. If an interviewee starts speaking luganda during English language time, there is supposed to be a translation.
