I simply marvel in Hilary's technicality and blooming musicality. It's like fine wine.

Bach + Hilary = Perfection

I've listened to her play this piece in various settings. This, I think, is the sweetest. The sound she gets from this violin is magical.

A perfect way to end the consert, after this overwhelming Brahms. Bach always have this ability to bring each feeling to its right place.

so thankful i got the chance to attend the saturday performance of this encore, the entire hall atmosphere changed the second she played the first note

So, ok ok she plays in tune, she has quite an amount of musicality, she has terrific left hand, but omg it is all about her bow and how she drives it full swing up to the last millimeter, with the elbow perfectly in place. Benefit = grand, deep, articulated style. Truly unique.

Amazing sound and I love the way she moves. Her body movements are so practiced and practical it's like watching a martial arts master going through different forms knowing every thing u see is a part of the amazing sound she produces.

I feel like she is a portal to exactly what Bach intended. Such precision, soul and exactitude in her execution is almost robotic, in the best interpretation of that word. I cannot utter the effect it has- simply, it is subliminal transcendence beyond this realm. That is Bach, and in the hands of Hillary Hahn, there is no better in existence to this day. Dare to argue otherwise :) cheers

She is…I can’t explain how I feel watching Hilary play in concert…at first I admire her beauty…and then you are drawn to her soul touching playing….then you realize that what it is. A most attractive woman making beautiful sounds from an instrument that is a marvel in the hands of a virtuoso. Yes, half of this is a bit superficial, but how can you miss how sensual this combination is. If I am out of line, please forgive me. I do not mean any disrespect. There is nothing like absolute beauty. If you see Hilary walking down the street you do notice how pretty she is. But, the thought passes as soon as she does. Put that violin in her gifted hands and hear Bach or Vivaldi, and this beauty is completely changed. It is now unforgettable.
