hey there! just ordered one of these, excited for it . asked for a black metallic plate with red accent ! So quick question-- I have an orange cab with 8 ohm v30 + 8ohm creamback wired in series for 16ohm output . would this be a problem considering the site says the amp is rated for 4ohm? I figure I can rewire my speakers to be in parallel but then i'd be stuck with that cab as a 4ohm only load and i have an or15 thats 8ohm minimum lol Just wondering if I may have to rewire the speaker config or if I might be able to leave it as is for band/rehearsal volume :) thanks! very cool riffs and tones in this vid!
@rawwwburrrtsreviews just got mine, it is LOUD with my current cabinet, no modifications needed. I did have to buy a speakon to 1/4 trs cable though since I didn't know the amp comes with 2 speakon output jacks. It rips! what I learned from Nathan himself (paraphrasing here) is that the amp has a 4ohms minimum output, so it functions just fine at 8ohms or 16ohms cabinet outputs as well, just that the full "potential" volume and output will be while operating at 4ohms into a 4ohms speaker output, so to speak.
