0:19 I love this detail In season 1, Hilda has a loving relationship with her mom. she tells her everything which makes a sense of trust. this is indicated by their interaction in the season one intro where her mom swings her to the other side, trusting her In season 2, based on what we see in the trailers. Hilda is going on more dangerous adventures and she isn't telling her mom about it. so now that sense of trust is gone. symbolized in the into as Hilda avoids her mom as she trips and falls leaving her mom looking uncertain
Thats very sad , poor hilda mom, she's always scared in season 2, i didnt like how hilda evolved in the middle of the season but at the end aparently she understand
In the first season, the vibe is getting from it its more happy and cool and wacky adventures and just overall a happy vibe, but in the second season, it seems the adventures took a dark turn, and now we're exploring the more hidden parts and dangerous parts of the mysterious world. Its also seems that Hilda and her mom's bond changed to happy to sad, it seems her mom looks worried and thinks maybe that the adventures Hilda is taking aren't safe any longer and it seems there's going to be some drama between them this season. That's just from what I understand from the compression.
It doesn’t seem Hilda’s relationship with her mother is becoming sad. But there’s a lack of communication developing between them, this could result in the Mother becoming overbearing or restrictive out of fear of Hilda getting hurt, but that’s exactly what Hilda wants to avoid.
@@VinVin_31 Funny how she said she wished she was a troll in the same episode. Also pretty sure since the year says 2021 instead of 2020. It’s most likely we’ll see a part 2 to Season 2. I doubt it would be Season 3, but it would be a nice surprise if it is.
season looks like it will be more darker! 1.She doesn't land with her mom 2. Librarian cult stuff(I think lol) 3.WHERE IS THE RAVEN EDIT: I finally finished the show, so I can reply to some of my replies now 😂
I like the little fact that in the first season it's nighttime, the second it's sunrise. If there's a season 3 I hope that cycle continues and the sun is up.
I am someone who has read the hilda books so when it shows how hilda doesn’t “land” with her mom, let me tell you that the new season will be a bit more stressing...
You don’t need to worry. Just watched the whole season. The spoiler it’s not that she had troubles with her mother... THE SPOILER IS THAT HILDA BECAME A TROLL!!!!!!!!!! (Trollhunters vibes?)
If you guys put this in slow motion and if you put it to the part where Hilda avoids her mother in the season 2 intro you will see that Hilda has a angry face as she avoids the Mother
I enjoy the fact that near the end, the sun is.. coming up - from season 1 to season 2. Little things are becoming more clear, more things have been explored.
If the second season is darker, then it follows a bit of a narrative tradition. The first outing may establish the characters and world, but its the second outing that puts them through their paces and forces character development. There's a tradition of the 'second act crisis' in stories; think The Empire Strikes Back from Star Wars. The heroes take a bad knock, everyone is scattered for a while, and it looks like whatever villain or negative theme that is driving the conflict will triumph, but the good guys eventually rally around to defeat whatever caused the problem, be it the villain or just their own personal issues. What goes wrong in the second outing is often fixed in the third, where all the character development and plot threads culminate to allow the characters to break through to a happy ending. ...of course, sometimes that rally is just a false dawn before the hammer comes down on everyone for keeps this time, but I think we're safe from that here. :p Just following up on a common theme in the comments.
This is such an amazing show. The animation and artstyle is so fluid and beautiful and all the color palettes are so pleasing to look at, I’m always impressed by every episode. Props to the studio that made this!
Things I've noticed/details I think are important: 1. (0:16) There was a huge wolf-like figure in the background, but two large figures/people(?) block the wolf and seem angry at each other. [Perhaps the wolf will solve peace, or the wolf is convincing the two men to fight each other.] 2. (0:18) There seems to be some strange library cult? (It might be the same people from the first season, but I just need to re-watch it Eeee-) 3. (0:20) Hilda's friend falls into the water near two pups/babies of a sea-creature. She tries to swim away, but it looks like the mother/parent animal attacks her as they go off-screen. (Yikes.) 4. (0:21) Hilda literally dodged her mother. (Wow...) Her mom looks horrified about it. 5. *....Where's the crow?- (WHERE'S THE CROW!??!?)* But, on a more serious note, this, will indeed, be a darker season with more juicy drama. I've always noticed how season one had a darker ending (and I always hoped there would be a second season, but I gave up hope eventually) and it was a perfect start for a second, darker season. Perhaps, Hilda's close relationship with her mother will be a bit... severed. (In the first season, Hilda's relationship with her friend was sort of severed as well.) In conclusion, I just threw this together and I'm really excited for the next season. :)
@@lizlabaro2664 I know what a woff is, I've known this show since season one when it first came out- I've also watched season two. But, I'm talking about the large wolf-like figure that resembles the great dark hound in season one.
I’m starting to feel like RU-vid is a stalker, once I started to like chowder and told my school, I didn’t watch a single clip or meme or episode of it on RU-vid and for some reason clips of the show came on my recommendations, I no longer like chowder but still think that’s a bit creepy.
You are lucky you just found out about the show I was a fan of Hilda day 1 of it being released You are very lucky you didn’t anticipate season 2 ‘‘Twas a very long wait
Jesus Christ This isn’t a show It’s an experience Imagine a Cartoonish version of Spirited away that is more kid friendly That is what this show feels like
Details no one talks about: 0:09 the colours are different 0:11 the sky is different and she jumps for longer 0:28 the airship has a shield symbol on it
Basically everyone: Season 2 looks much darker... Me who’s already watched all of season 2 and waiting for season 3: 🤐 Edit: A certain ep will prob leave you in tears
Chapter 9: The Deerfox is by far the saddest one. At the end of the episode where Twig goes back to his real parents, and Hilda says “You are the best friend a girl could ever have”
Season 2 is much darker, because if you saw the series a character literally dies and came back from the dead 2 times, at the end of season 2 includes Hilda being supposedly turned into a golem, going through time causing a time worm killing different versions of her, and much more, the creators don't seem to have a problem with making things dark as season 2 goes through the world of hilda more.
Pretty sure that X is just a weird remnants of the animation software their using. They usually get edited out on the final product. Like those weird numbers at the corners. They’ll probably get edited out in the final release. That’s how it usually goes with pre-production stuff.
I can already imagine the third season that at the end of the intro it is either daytime because in the first and second it comes out first at night and then at dawn
I finished the season then took a closer look at the intro and realized: waiit- HOLY HECC THE INTRO GIVES AWAY THE EPISODES- Yea i was an idiot- [still am (': ]
I don't think it will be revealed, there's gonna be a 70 minute movie of Hilda which is most likely gonna be the last time we see Hilda, since the comic series only had one more book before it ended. But maybe we'll get a season 3
*don’t read this comment if you haven’t watched season 2* The Librarian is a witch and the other witches accept Frida to be a witch :D Remember that part? Also I don’t if you remember because you may have clicked this if you haven’t watched season 2
@@user-jy7iu9kx2i I already know that thanks for the info. And I finished watching season two, and the ending was quite shocking and looking forward to season three
I appreciate everyone who patiently waited 2 whole dang years for season 2 when I found and finished the season 1 of Hilda right before season 2 came out-
The beginong looks like daring and mostly like season one but then it takes a darker turn with more traumatic moments so it seems like something big or a new thing to the plot will be revealed that turns to the darker turn of things
Just when I thought the attention to detail in the S1 intro was great, they take it even further to essentially build the S2 intro from.the ground up. Hilda even avoids Johanna's help in the S2 intro, and as a result falls. Pretty representative of the contents of the season, that.
When I hear this theme song,my mind go" Nothing like a great afternoon to watch this amazing show!",just remembering how December 2021 was so nostalgic to me
@Dominic Rios it always inspires me to explore the big world and to not be afraid of letting our spirits free, it has such great messages, and let's not forget the animation style, the art of this series is complete magic
I loved this show and I was upset to find no season 2 back in 2018 and I swear the new intro opens up a world of new theories and her mom might be an essential character in this new season based on the intro alone! Can’t wait to see what’s in store!
Ik season two is dark and sad, but NO SHIT I LOVE THE THEME SONG! Its got so much personality to it, the music is basically the best thing ive heard. Hilda is a very good series. Its so magical, I watched all of season 1, and half of season 2.
The opening titles of seasons 1 and 2 begin with Hilda and Twig standing next to a bolder then freaking out when it turns into a troll. I wonder how season 3 will start now that she's friends with trolls.
It's been five years of hildas tv series! I have alot of nostalgia with the books and the show personally, And im glad they came back with another season. Back in 2021 i found leaks of the new season 3 episodes, the names something with "fairy" in it I also found a interview of Luke saying it may be the last season.
I just came back from watching season 2 and I just want to say, it is a lot darker but still keeps the classic Hilda charm. With both the plot and the humor being much more darker, especially the humor. Like spoilers... David dies twice. Both played for laughs.
@@gastontoonsnami216 algo asi :D Pero aparte de eso tambien sucesos que pasarian en la temp Aunque seria una muy buena teoria ver al padre de Hilda en la segunda temp
I see something.hilda was flying something from TROLBERG around something in the WILDERNESS and it’s the opposite on season two 1. Hilda was riding raven, the thunder bird around Yorden, the giant 2. Hilda was riding a creature know as “Woff” around big ben
