Thank you, Damette and Anthony, for giving us the update on Hilderbramdt's fate. Definitely an old and happy place with a variety of foods to choose from. The portions, prices and drinks are noteworthy. Hope we see you back there, and go with a good appetite. 😄🖐

As far as Hildebrandt's I could tell from the first shot this was the real deal. Not a themed restaurant, but the real deal, a place with heart and soul. So many times we are in such a rush to find the next greatest thing. Always something new and flashy. We wake up one day and look in the mirror and realize our new and flashy days are well behind us. We yearn for things that are missing in our lives. Back to times that were more simple and less stressful. Maybe a cup of coffee, in a real cup with a saucer and slice of fresh baked pie, yes with a scoop of handmade vanilla ice cream. All served by a waitress that calls everyone "hon" and "Dear". The best of luck to Hildebrandt's a landmark, and a monument that transports us back to simpler times. Dannette and Anthony, this was like you two taking us along on your first date. Sharing bites and actually talking to each other. I love you both, and thank you for sharing your date at Hildebrandt's.

Danette and Anthony, Hello my friends‼️ Everything your ordered looked mouthwatering delicious‼️I love the way you guys take the time to describe the food, Coffee Joe would have swallowed all that food in less than a minute‼️🤣😅 I also love them old themed diners, it brought back childhood memories‼️ We had a few of the ‘50 and ‘60 themed diners around us and we loved eating at them and reminiscing, but unfortunately they are no longer in business, so sad‼️Thank you for posting this video and have a great weekend‼️

A Lime Rickey!! There’s a blast from the past. That artichoke fondue looks fabulous. Those French fries look fab. And the rigatoni looks great. And the ice cream dessert…. Wow… you guys know all the best places. What a gem of a place. I hope they’re still in business!!

Thank you for sharing this gem of a place, the food looked amazing but even more so the vibes of this little diner came across. I'll definitely be contacting the people you listed to let them know we NEED these kind of historic businesses.

I've jotted down the info. Will call AND email them in my most eloquently verbal and written way possible. I'll be passing the word along, too. Anthony, your compassion for Hildebrandt's came through and I know Danette shares that emotion. What about a Go Fund Me to help sustain them, until a decision is made with regard to Historic status, which could take some time??? Just a thought!! Hope people get on board to help them out. THIS is the kind of video I like seeing from you two!! You know I so love your livestreams, but I'm glad you made this as a short. Everything looked so good and a livestream might have gotten in the way of you relaxing and really enjoying it. Danette, your face literally lit up when you tried the dip!! And the Rigatoni with Calamari looked amazing!! Now that I found your channel Im catching up.. The ladt time we all went to the cemetery we stopped here after Dominicks. I will be subscribing. Btw I grew up in Middle Village by Juniper Park. Have you ever bern to Barosas? I grew up with the owners.( Rosas Pizza on69th and Grand Ave Maspeth 👍👍)
