@@bluebluerailroad5664 Because she is a female. And she is one of only four females formally declared to be "Doctor of the Church" out of hundreds of female Catholic Saints. In contrast to the misled Feminism movement of today, St. Hildegard manifests timeless femininity. She worshipped the One True God with all her womanly potential and became exceptionally virtuous, fruitful, and beautiful because of it!
The Solfeggio tones are very mystical and release very potent frequencies in terms of measurable hertzs that are beneficial to humans, and to all lifeforms actually, including plant lifeforms. Hildegard's mastery of this knowledge is quite evident in her compositions. The monks aren't too shabby at it either.
Your words are heresy! Only Lord Jesus can pray for us! Let's read the Holy Bible! 1 Timothy 2:5: "There is one God. There is also one mediator between God and humans-a human, Christ Jesus."
Absolutely Beautiful! Sounds a bit like Church Choir by more Meditative and refined. Lisa Gerard would be proud! (of Dead Can Dance and Soundtrack to the Film, Gladiator with Hanz Zimmer)
It appears to be a Vielle...At, first I thought it sounded like a hurdy gurdy....then I assumed a Viola da Gamba, but the shape, strings and playing style have me leaning towards Vielle. I am NOT a music historian, just an elementary school music teacher looking for a kick butt Composer/Performer of the Week for my students.
hello. I am the harpist. In the manuscript we only have the single chant line, so everything else you hear (vielle, vocal drones, harp melodies, cadential counterpoint, etc.) is our original interpretation. Some of this harp part was improvised and parts of it were also notated for this performance. In creating each part of it, I was inspired by Hildegard's composition and poetry.
She transcribed her music using the standard notation of the time which was fairly advanced by this time, the 12th century. I love music so much, I’m grateful we can hear her genius today!
Hello, I want to ask you a question. You post a chior video of Schubert Linderbuam. They sang very beautifully. Now I want to use the song in my short film. I ask for permission for usage. Please let me know what I need to do. Thank you. (nick kan)
Every woman IS just because one in the Female Sex the One of the greatest women. It's a fondamental, the spirit of Unicity, that Sex is the Gender flesh - an Origin. In God. Yes, Sex is our Imagin and Likeness in God, fleshing, male AND female. Two, 2, is the first and the only pair number of the Numeri Primi. Peace to you and you. AMEN
She was way ahead of her time. A genius amongst us. Too bad we don't hear and read more about all her accomplishments. She should be part of the history curriculum in schools. 🖤🖤
A great work by all of those involved. The sound of the harp actually was leveled so, that it was totally great on these basic tablets speakers; very very rare.

We don't forget that all things about Hildegard von Bingen, came from God, with all the benefits that He wants to give us, she knew a lot of things, and she left a great legacy for mankind, another person who wants always the love of God is San Juan de la Cruz, a contemporary Spanish saint of Santa Teresa de Avila, and Hildegard von Bingen is called a doctor of the church.
