I ran my raptor with on some 4x4 trails in spider lake Minnesota it was a rough ride but she kept wtih the 4x4s on the very rough stuff. Ground clearance was not an issue. Im pretty impressed with how capable this machine is.
I bought myself a 2002 honda 400ex last Friday and I took it out yesterday and it's fun to ride me and my brother rode with each other and he has a 2004 400ex with a big bore kit and we had fun riding together
Same w me, the older I get the more I love quads. I think we have the best of both worlds, a 700 and a 450! I tell everybody, you don't have to choose, buy one then save up for the other.
i had an 01 raptor 660 that was modded out it was a beast. probably the best sport quad ive had. Im currently restoring a 400ex with a 426 big bore kit in it. it seems pretty nice to. but yeah man those raptors are like tractors i could stop on big steep hills and pul back out without slipping a tire. my brother on his ltr450 not so much lol
the raptor takes more effort to throw around but me being bigger 190 I love it Ive had all the top 450s love them just love the raptor for the riding I do its a beast just need to know how to lay her down just watch pete hager been watching him since like 2010 lol he throws the raptor around nice and has been for 10+ years
They bud just got a raptor and wanting to get a slip on pipe Do I need a fuel tuner? My plan was to upgrade to a k&n style filter and a slip on Will this be ok?
I just got a yzf450r it's been built for drag racing at least the motor but its bored out to a 500 with k&n air filter exhaust and the head was rebuilt to withstand more power but I let people ride it and it scares grown men it tops out at 115 and in 2 your doing 55 it's crazy but its a beast and it wheeled in 5 gear with a 260 pound dude on it
@@BrewerOffroad Wish I had a home setup like yours. I have a friend who owns 1,000 acres in southern indiana directly south of a tiny place called Fort Ritner. Can't convince him to make a 4 wheeler paradise though!
Not saying anything bad but...... if that was a Glann Innovations Case Saver and Chain Slide, that wouldn't have happened. Just sayin lol Get you one, you'll thank me.
@@BrewerOffroad trust me when I say you will LOVE the Glann Innovations Case Saver and Chain Slider. You'll never need another one and they don't come off/loose like that one did.
@@BrewerOffroadI’ve been riding since I was probably six started on a z50 up until now with a Yamaha 450, just have him sit back far so his front end doesn’t wash out. He’ll be a lot more comfortable with some speed on that hill
That chain snapping like that had nothing to do with the size of the rider and the amount of horsepower on the bike fucking chain should have been changed probably a year ago all stretched out that's why it snacks cuz he never changed it he just thought it didn't need to be changed ever I'm sure and this is what happens they become weak and they snap I only have a little bit of experience on motorcycle I mean my first bike was 1983 cr60 so you do the math how long have I been riding I'm not a weekend warrior I ride daily every 3 months I replace my chain whether it needs it or not and sprockets because I don't want to end up like that broke down in the middle of nowhere
You clearly don't understand sarcasm haha it broke because we took off the sprocket guard the week before for the sand dunes. The chain hit a big rock and cracked then later snapped. But go ahead and cuss on my comments because you think you know more than me 🤣
I'm glad to see you put the time in to edit your 3rd grade grammar. As a person with friends, I like to make jokes and have fun when I am around these people that like me. I know it's a tough concept to grasp. We also run the best case savers and protection in the game so snapping a chain damages little to nothing. If you have the money for new chain and sprockets 4 times a year, you should check them out. Go hit up Weston from DRW Performance. We also travel with new chain and sprockets and that is about a 2 minute fix. Another reason why it is fun to have friends is those same friends will tow you back to the truck. So some words of advice; don't bring negativity to people that you are jealous of, don't assume you have a higher intelligence level or proper preventative maintenance if you don't have all the information, and maybe read a book or two on sarcasm and humor. You watched a 15 min sample of our riding and find that to be sufficient evidence to curse at us and bring negativity to our channel. Have a great day. Merry Christmas and God Bless.
Not judging anyone but repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. The Lord Jesus died and was resurrected on the third day for us so that we might have eternal life through believing in him and obedience to him and the word. Accept the lord Jesus as your savior today if you haven’t already have a blessed day.
