He supposedly replied “A republic, ma’am, if you can keep it”. For some time now, we have been told that we live in a Democracy - yet nowhere in the U.S. Constitution is the word “Democracy” found. We are being told that “Trump is an existential threat to our Democracy”. Considering how little input the common people of the country have in the politicians who are voted for, it seems that there is an elite group who are making the decisions - which is the definition of an Oligarchy. (just look at how the current presumptive Democrat Presidential candidate was selected.) Shouldn’t the rallying cry be that “Trump is an existential threat to our Oligarchy”?

So that's all it takes to win your vote? Pandering? It also goes to show America was not as racist as you all think, but they will continue to use the race card for votes. How easily swayed people are, and how stupid for the country when that's all they have to do to deserve your vote. Think about that when you go grocery shopping and the shelves are almost empty and what is there is unaffordable, or when your power bills are too high, and you cannot afford the taxes on your home and you lose it, or people just cannot afford to live.
