Is she wrong though, this is the same question that American's faced in 2020. The reality hasn't changed for this election. Biden is old yes, but he has decades of experience in politics, is a compassionate leader but also has backbone, has gotten deals passed through compromise, and has America's best interest at the forefront. Trump on the other hand, has an endless amount of pending charges, his own VP (Pence) is not endorsing him because he tried to get him killed during the insurrection, is a loaded cannon and is an absolute narcissist. Like c'mon now... we're talking about deciding if America wants a democracy or authoritarianism and people are having to mull this over like it's difficult question.

I mean I kinda agree. As a black man my Mom grew up in a time where Blacks did not have the right to vote...and my Grandmother as a woman did not have a right to vote. I mean really for any person to say they will not vote just because is really "get over it" if someone is too fragile to hear the truth of "just get over it" Hell I would have preferred Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Andrew Change or Pete Buttigreig in the last few seaons of election...but when I did not get them I did not sit out and pout and boo hoo...and say I am not gonna vote. I mean the election cycle is long if people do not know why or who then they really need to get over themselves if they do not know...but everyone is on their journey and you do have a choice seeing what each candidate and their administration....remember we are not electing a King so it is also about the people this person has around them and stop thinking of just the figurehead but the gov't and vision they each have.

I fully plan on voting, and some of the potential outcomes of this election terrify me, and I'm out there convincing as many people to vote as possible. But even with that being the case, hearing those words come out of this old lady's mouth had me momentarily reconsidering that. It's not just that it isn't a good argument to encourage non-voters. It's such a bad argument it can DISENGAGE people who would have otherwise voted.

So these people most likely will still show up to vote in November, just not for Biden if he doesn’t make a change. @EinWochenedeImAusland oh I am no fan of Trump and his rhetoric, but any public appearance of Hillary makes voters(that already are hesitant to go out to vote cause of poor messaging of accomplishments/policy/foreign affairs/etc.) Even more wanting to stay home. Like not a lot of people necessarily are excited to vote for Biden, especially in the demographics that he needs the most, and I have never once seen Hillary make a positive appearance that would help drive that. She is a vote deterrent to the center and left and makes the right more driven to vote. She is literally not helping her party

I am a woman who could not bring myself to vote for Mrs. Clinton......she voted for the invasion of Iraq (come on, she and Bill knew very well there were NO weapons of mass destruction). They would have had my admiration if the two of them had stood up for NOT invading Iraq, She felt that she was entitled to the nomination ....she had put up with all of Bill's philandering like a good Party follower....instead of finally throwing him out and staying in the Senate doing some good from there. @@snipelfritz : There was nothing wrong with that messaging. "Get over yourself" is a perfect response. I'm not offended by it, and I don't like the choices for each party, myself. She summed it up nicely. Biden has done a decent job. My own life, directly, has been positively impacted, and I can tell you exactly how. First, the economy is so good, the people I work for were _forced_ to give us raises, because we couldn't keep people. Other companies, to fill slots, were hiring our people away. Our pay went up $3 an hour, compared to the 24 cents we received after Trump signed that enormous tax cut for all of those nice corporations. Union membership has also gone up, and the Housekeepers received the largest pay raise of all. I couldn't believe it. They had unionized. The thing is, too, that once Biden's infrastructure spending kicks in, things will get even better. Now, if you've been _negatively_ impacted by anything that Biden has done, please, share that with me. I want specifics. Don't give me any bullshit about the border, since you're not directly impacted by that. I want to know exactly how Biden's policies impacted you negatively.

"Get over yourselves, those are the two choices." The problem is that there are only two (real) choices. The country should get rid of the party system entirely. For president, make the primaries a choice between ALL the candidates, with all voters able to choose from all possibilities, and nobody has any "party" listed by their name, just their name. Do it "American Idle" style with multiple primaries, eliminating one or two candidates each time until one candidate gets 2/3 of all votes or we're down to two. When it's down to two, the winner of that election is president and the other is vice. (No more "running mate" bs. The people choose vice as well this way.) If one candidate gets 2/3+ at any point during the primaries, they become president (elect) and the elections continue to choose vice. Also, if you think this is crazy, wait 'til you hear my idea for choosing senators. 😁
