Hillside Tube Chute - Strange River Water Slide at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels 

I can say that Schlitterbahn is among the best waterparks in the world theming-wise. Where can you fight off a dragon with the power of the Master Blaster or white water raft across a waterpark? It's one of a kind!

Personally I think this looks great. I love the winding route through the gardens and then the strange trip though the hallway.

Oh wow! This must be one of their oldest tube chutes. I remember riding it back in the early 1980s. Brings back great memories!

The tube chutes are the best part about Schlitterbahn!

This is the best water ride on the planet. It’s fun, it’s scenic and it’s a great way to cool off.

Basically its a lazy river with speed bumps.

This is the coolest, freshest, 72 degree water year round. I have been riding this shoot for 40 plus years.

I’ve never been to this side of the park, but I’ll go to schlitterbahn sometime this week and hopefully ride this. I’m excited

I think this is cool. A great hybrid between a lazy river and a tube chute rapid ride. And it last for like 5 mins to just chill but still get some rapids

Unfortunately, they've completely remodeled this ride. It now uses chlorine water, and the 2nd half of the ride that goes underneath the locker room building is now gone. 😢

Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is best out of all of the locations. It’s worth the 4 hour drive from Houston. Btw, when was this filmed?

Schlitterbahn tube chutes build strong muscles. You leave the park sore from having to push yourself off walls and keep your tube upright.

I loved the tube rides when I was a kid. It’s sad to see them run down and worn-looking.

That's definitely not something you see every day but it looks kind of boring.

VERY weird slide!! Looks painful, being so oddly laid out and oddly shaped. It’s also not made out of fiberglass, so it looks pretty rough! Who would design this? Those bumps are there to create rapids, but there’s not enough water! Just very weird...

Isn't the point of these lazy tube rides to just sit back and let the "river" guide you down. This MADE YOU WORK THE ENTIRE RIDE THROUGH. I'D be scared I would've gotten stuck somewhere at some point as there weren't any actual jets pushing you forward.

its better than in my town walking on lazy river(because it's normal pool but just long look like a lazy river)

Many waterparks have lazy rivers but this one has adventure rivers and a lot of them on the west side on the property. I guess you could call this park the Adventure River Capitol of the world considering these rivers put together last for over 3 miles (according to what I heard them say on the Travel Channel).

This looks like a German budget version of a Disney water slide.... it’s not bad as far scenery goes but I’d prefer wild wati lazy river there’s more to look at there

Schlitterbahn is essentially a tubing park. Thus, they have a dozen or so of these things
