I love Hilti , I don't have any though lol but have used them when I worked for other construction companies, seams to be go to for new construction, good job Chris
Thanks Wealro. I was just watching the fire man video that you posted. The photographer at our wedding was into fire chakra too and he did a surprise show for us and it was amazing. Because I am a contractor even though I am only billing hourly I still need to buy a lot of my own stuff. We really beat up the tools, equipment and our gear in commercial, its like being at war everyday lol. Because I own most of them I stick with the Hilti because its a good strong tool, does the job it is designed for and has really great service attached! If you were to buy something Hilti what would it be?
When I shoot on old concrete the nails don't hold. Blows up a small crater. Maybe for new "soft" concrete, steel & wood is good. Can somebody help with solution for the old concrete craters????????????????
The proper term is nails but we call them pins. I don't know why but if you asked for Hilti nails around here you may get a confused look back. For powder actuated direct fastening we say shot and pin.
Never knew there was such a powerful tool. Any Idea how many shots for each cannister? I can see why HILTI is a step above your regular Home Depot stuff.
They say that you get 750 shots out of each canister of gas. I really don't think you get that much but the gas and pins come together and the pricing is different for every company based on their buying history with Hilti. I can't wait to show you the other tools I have :-)
Anything close to 750 shots for that small of a cannister is great in my book. I've no experience with HILTI so very curious of its performance. I can't wait for you to show me cuz 😃
Yo Pete, good to hear from you my man. Really don't think I know the guy since Kailua or Kaneohe is on the opposite side of the island from where I live (Pearl City) but raised in Aiea. I'm 66 now so thinking he must be about your age, that's another thing. Unless we worked together at some point I'd say the chances are slim that I know him. Had family in Kaneohe but they moved about 50 years ago. My cousin did run a fishing tournament in Kailua for many years (I think not so now). Some sorta small boat papio (jack crevalle) tournament. He's 68 now, so again prolly an age gap there to. We ate poi quite frequently as kids because my dad liked it. I had to add milk and sugar to it though because it was a bit tasteless/sour. If used like a dipping sauce it more palatable...lol. Right now we are 3 hrs earlier than west coast time so yeah prolly 4 hrs dif from where you at. You'll need to subtract an hr from that when your daylight savings time changes because we don't use dst. Yeah so unless he worked at Pearl Harbor (spent about 34 yeras there), army national guard (8 yrs), or air national guard (12 yrs) I really can't see us ever hooking up before. Those of us born and raised here treat friends as ohana (family) so he must be a nice guy to know. LOL, young adults here always call me uncle, a very common way of addressing older folks even if having never met before. Kids here be calling you uncle too, so don't be surprised. 😂
That sucks bro. Might consider chaning your diet (lol, I know...its the last thing folks wanna do). Since going almost entirely vegan, I've never had issuses with my digestion, stomach acid, bowel movements...it's always a smooth move, 2x or more a day. Americans spend so much on healthcare and yet I think not even in the top 25 countries regarding good health. Really pathetic!! Got rid of my primary care doc like 4 yrs ago and never use over the counter meds. I keep my neurologist just so I can a perscription for blood tests. It's not the costs either. I have Blue Cross, Tricare and Medicare A & B so almost zero cost for me. Gotta keep these plans basically for dental and family use. I never get sick anymore cept for my bad back which went out recently. Pulled by hand too many weeds...lol. Yo, I had more weeds than grass in my yawn. I'll see if I can find a safe diet post surgery for you. Offhand I would suggest raw organic honey to help prevent infection. Were you having bouts of heartburn previously? This indicates low levels of stomach acid and those antiacids work temporarily because they dont address the problem....actually they make it worse. Take care my man, hope everything turns out well. Be praying for you bro.
Yo Pete if you can see this then maybe we can take it to Discord. I can't read your comments here only in my browser notifications. See if you can go to Chris's channel on the Discord.
@@ConstructionKronies I see. I've only ever put in non load bearing steel studs walls but I saw less usual stuff like this on RU-vid. Here's a video of steel studs being welded: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BoMHjmZdgxE.html. I also saw blind rivets being put in steel studs in a video from South East Asia (I don't know why, maybe because of codes related to cyclones).
I hate this dam hilti gun. It sucks. Your vids dark/shakey/the sound is sketchy and ur often ducking down to stay in frame with the tool... 😂🤣😂 But I love this friggen channel!!! Kronies construction for the WIN bishes!!!!!! This dudes gonna be huge!!
Again thank you very much! I know sometimes the videos aren't the best but when I can get a film crew and all the gear....Nothing but up and better quality bros!
Of course I would love to review the new GX 2, however I do not own one yet. The 120 and 351 remain to be the most popular models out there. I really like the BX-3 and am working on getting one of those to cover.
