I have enjoyed your videos for a good while now. I am a Bluegreen owner and I have watched you in the past to learn about other timeshares to see how Bluegreen matched up and to compare value. Now I watch with a different lens now with the buyout. Thanks for all the helpful info. I travel almost monthly with my Bluegreen I hope I can continue to travel at that rate when its all said and done.

The BG Facebook groups are in a panic. I own in both clubs so am curious to see how they handle this. I really don’t want more Hilton points but am glad it wasn’t Wyndham who bought it.

My in-laws own Bluegreen and enjoy it. Wondering what this will mean for them in the future. I told them to expect that nothing will change as far as the resorts they can book etc.

I think you are right. Nothing will change but at some point Hilton Grand Vacations will try to get them to buy more in order to be able to book more properties within a restricted reservation window. Usually a bad idea.

HGVC and Wyndham resale owner, I can live without Max. I just stayed at BG in Las Vegas, wasn't impressed. Cheap bathroom handles, dirty hallways, and a 90% empty parking lot (I was told that BG owners mostly cruise with their points!). I would like to try Savannah, GA, either through RCI, or Hilton Honors, especially after they do updates.

Buying resale is certainly the best way to go. Max doesn't add enough value to make a full price retail purchase worth while. Thanks for watching!

We don't really know many details yet, but based on how they handled Diamond Resorts integration as well as Hilton Grand Vacations Club owners buying in, it requires a direct purchase from HGV. Usually costing about $20,000 or more. They do have some provision about paying a fee of $7,000 just to enroll in HGV Max, but I haven't seen anyone report doing that yet. In my opinion, it isn't worth it to buy in to HGV max as there are much easier and better ways to get access to the HGVC and HVC resorts. Do blurred owners get to have access to Hilton properties?

I doubt that Bluegreen owners will be given access to Hilton Grand Vacations Club properties unless they buy into the HGV Max program at some point in time. Right now they haven't released any details as the acquisition hasn't closed yet. But I highly doubt there will be open access between programs. Everything will be facilitated through HGV Max, which requires an additional purchase of timeshare from HGV.
