Thanks for the feedback hopefully my content helps you avoid doing the same job twice after four years of use the pipes are still good and still flexible regards Mike
The SR5 has three breathers one on the 4 by 4 activator it’s a small pipe on top it runs up to the back of the bell housing the breather cap and the other two are hard to reach from the engine bay. The gear box has one and the transfer case has two that are joined together they are all on top of the units regards mike
@@chrisjones1864 a lot of kits have four breathers usually one each for the differentials one for the gear box and transfer box and with the SR5 one for the front diff ADR and the transfer case activator most kits come with the tee pieces required
@@kisbushcraftdownunder can you get an SR5 specific kit? So basically the SR5 needs six breather the extra are for the ADR and transfer case activator? Wouldn’t all modern 4x4 require these? Or just the hilux?
@@chrisjones1864 only the SR5 has the ADD front diff I am not sure about the four wheel drive activator the 70 series Toyota’s still have a gear leaver for four wheel drive the breathers for the gear box and transfer case are small 4 mm from memory as are the ADD and four wheel drive activator I extended my front diff ADD and both diffs but left the rest you can buy kits for the sr5 they all have four breathers and two joiners
