@specialness16 I've always adored his voice. He's had rough times during concerts like around the time he broke up with Jonna but I've never judged him. I didn't know he had tonsilitus, poor guy. Anyways, I don't mind singers with rough voices but I think Ville will always be my favorite.
@specialness16 Haha I feel the exact same way. I remember when they first started off, he wasn't smoking a whole lot, and his voice sounded amazing. I don't think he needed to smoke to keep his deep husky voice intact. It's always awesome talking to HIM/ Ville Valo fans that get it. :)
@GoldenOnyx17 yeah, it will be interesting to see how his looks develop though, and his vocals sound so great now he' given up smoking though I always they sound wicked,, even when his voice was a bit messed up, I like really rough voices and stuff, I thought he sounded best at pukkelpop, and that was my favourite look too
@specialness16 Yeah I'm really happy he stopped. I didn't want him looking all washed up at like 35 or 40. He still looks great, sometimes I just admire his younger days though.
@GoldenOnyx17 yeah I miss the younger days, but he still looks great especially considering how much he used to smoke and drink etc :P I mean look at how much Robert Plant's looks faded before of all that sort of stuff so it's lucky Ville stopped x
@GoldenOnyx17 yeah sure thing :), but I would say in the very beginning he wasn't that good, he defnitely got better, if you listen to some of the vocal runs on Venus Doom he hasn't always been able to do that stuff, but I would say, I prefered his voice sorta early 2006 when it had a nice husk, not too gravelly, I actually quite like weenie roast, even though he had tonsilitus :P to put it itno perspective I listen to singers like Mark Lanegan and Janis Joplin who have reeeeally rough voices :P
