This era was beyond amazing. I remember being like 13 hearing this for the first time. Ville and his lyrics literally defined how I approached romance. Every woman I've ever loved, it has been full, deep, and heartbreaking. I need a soul mate so I can be who I am, naked. I need someone to take my heavy, bleeding heart somewhere safe and warm.
I still get back to that song over the years. Once I hear it, I feel something and it gives me this idea of losing yourself in love so much that you feel it with each cell in your body. Ville must have really craved this overwhelming feeling while writing this and each time he sings the song. Some people say HIM is not a "high level" music, but if it gives me emotions, I really don't give a fuck.

Жиза( И когда слушаю снова через 15 лет со всеми знаниями, приобретенными в жизни, открываются с новой стороны и несмотря на ностальгию все же у хим качественный контент был. Жаль сейчас на концерт не попасть.

It’s really good here but definitely not the best, the overdrive performance they did in 98 is him at his peak imo, his singing during songs like for you and it’s all tears is incredible. Ville is amazing at this show but definitely check out the overdrive show which is definitely his peak vocally imo

It's so sad to see all the singers at the, who's first language is english, to write the same songs all the time. I miss him and especially I miss Ville and his songwriting
When I heard Razorblade Romance, it felt like nothing I've heard before. Bittersweet, tragic, haunting, sexy, and I'll love these songs forever. Def my favorite album, then DSBH and Love Metal. Since then I'm hoping for them to recapture that vibe. I lack words in describing it. It's so beautiful it almost hurts.

How can you expect an almost 40 year old man to recapture the music and feelings he made when he was 25? He is in a completely different life stage right now, so you can't expect him to be like in 2000. You are neither the same person, RR and its type of music should remain in that era. If you don't like the new music no prob, they lost me after VD, but RR sometimes can take me back to teenage years and even if I wouldn't buy a new HIM album now, RR can always do that and that's fine.
I was in love with VV when I was 15-16. Still love their music. Deep shadows and brilliant highlights is a masterpiece. Thanks god I went to their last concert in Saint Petersburg. Love love love

Him will always be my favorite. even though I don't listen to new rock and roll, I will always love these guys and the classic rock bands, rolling stones, etc. I was fortunate enough to meet Ville in Greensboro, North Carolina after a show they did with another band. Can't remember who it was, I only went for HIM and left just as soon as they finished their set and encore. Ville signed my wrist and drew a heartagram on the little bit of blank skin I had left on my left arm; I called several diffent tattoo parlors around 10:00 pm that night and finally I talked someone into tattooing me after begging. Hello from Charlotte! I must say, I've recently gotten into HIM. It's been a rabbit hole, in lack of better terms. I stumbled across a track of Razorblade Romance, took a moment to listen to the album, then found this song. That was it. I was captivated instantaneously. I just received a well-spent $90 version of the record on vinyl a few days ago. Perhaps I'll see Ville Valo in Myrtle Beach or Blue Ridge Rock Fest in September? I'd love going, it's just a matter of talking my boyfriend into attending with me.

It's been years since anybody heard anything about H.I.M. or Ville. They shouldn't end up like this. One good farewell concert or a single would be proper for all the fans following them for so many years without a question.
