Ville is a very shy person, so much to drink, when he does not drink, his shyness is much to see, yet it has Mige, his steady eye contact with Ville and Mige think calms. I'm glad he got out of the darkness.

At that time Ville was constantly drunk, as he himself later admitted in various interviews. In the beginning he was still great, as for example at the Taubertal Festival in 2003, full of emotions and strong feelings. At this gig he's just drunk . It's painfull to see him like this.
It was heartbreaking as long time fans to see him like this for the first time live. I lost my summer job so I can go to this concert and I still remember the hurt after seeing him like this (at the time it just felt like he didn’t give a shit about us Romanian fans) Luckily Amorphis was outstanding 🎉 I’ve seen Ville many times this Neon Noir tour and I am so pleased to see him healthy and sober, and the performances are simply amazing!❤
@@roamaniacs You can clearly see that he's trying, but when you're as drunk as he was here, you no longer have any real control over your body. If he "didn’t give a shit" about something, it was about himself. He was completely exhausted, mentally and physically, he was on bean-ends
@@tinkaward6921 Yes absolutely, with my adult mind I know that the only person he didn’t care about at that time was himself and that hurts even more to see with my adult eyes. What I tried to say was me, as 17 year old at this show, after 6 years of waiting to see HIM live felt that way - I didn’t have the life experience to understand what truly was going on - I could only see a drunk vocalist who seemed to not care about his performance.
The last time I saw them live, I really felt the end was near. They didn't look like they wanted to do it anymore. It kind of ruined the experience for me.

mmmm, drunk off his ass.. I don't know whether i think this is cute or if i feel sorry for him here.. but i'm leaning more towards just feeling sorry for him. This was a good performance, i'm not gonna lie. His presence is always amazing, but i don't think he was truly happy when he was drunk all the time. just my opinion. anyways i love this :) HIM.

maybe ville wasn`t at his bests buuuut the instrumental was great, the band acted great and showed a very good team spirit. It`s not my favourite HIM concert but i love it- and you know why? because it is the only concert they`ve had in Romania and i was there singing, yelling, smiling, being really happy. I wish they`ll come to Romania in the next tour and have a great gig like the one from the orpheum theatre (Digital Versatile Doom):D:X
