Song is fucking badass. Lyrics are fucking beautiful. Can't ask for more really. This is what got me obsessed with HIM.

This band gave me back my masculinity as a teen. The lead being slim and still sexy made me feel so much better about myself

Just one of those timeless songs that scratch a certain itch whenever you need it no matter the year.

Oh man... I had this group of friends when I was around 15. Our one homie put me on to this band. We would all listen to this song often. He isnt with us anymore, he died in prison back in 2015. The beginning of this song always brings me back to those times. I miss that shit so much. I have a tattoo on my wrist that dude actually started. I ended up finishing it, but this song and that tattoo is all I have to remember him by. THE FEELS!!!!

First song o e ever heard by H.I.M back when the album came out in 2005, loved the band ever since.ny favorite songs by them but this one is on the very top of my list. Also,out of all the albums, I can sing the song of Dark Light almost perfectly.

I've always loved how much the influences from Jim Morrison and The Doors, as well as Ozzy and Sabbath leak through most songs; but it never _once_ felt like a ripoff. Just good 80's/90's styled Goth Rock/Metal (here with 00's era production, and similar onward from here), with obvious, yet not plagiarist Doors and Sabbath influences. Fucking love it, and always will.
