It looks like Ville held on to this song for quite a while and after hearing this it makes sense to me why I instantly connected to it and not to the other new songs. My heart did the picking and it came just as natural as breathing because this is the Ville I fell in love with... The lyrics, the melody and all the emotions felt like pouring from my own heart. While listening to it for the very first time I felt like Ville gave my heart a voice...
To so many girls out there, Ville is their image of an ideal man. It's hard to understand how he, being so open as he is, still has troubles finding something true. How much hope does that leave the rest of us? .. Anyways, Disarm Me is one of my favorite songs of his.

saw them in birmingham on the 19th of match omg amazing and this song gave me so many butterflys when they performed it. the whole crowd just went silent. LOVE HIM!
I liked the goth rock love metal the best of all the styles. I like some of the songs from this album and tears on tape, but I miss hearing some of the older stuff from 2001-2007. But must say even as H.I.M has been experimenting with different styles they still seem to come up with a song that I really like
i was reading the most liked comments and the first one i see from Severusshe reminds me of how i felt about the song for sum reason i took a liking to this song a bit more than the others and theres just sumthing magical about the lyrics the melody and his voice all put together =)
I bet that when this guy was just a "regular nobody" trying to find his voice and trying to find his form of expression, people called him all kinds of names, crazy comes to mind, and girls leaving him for "not being focused" or whatever crap people say. Now that he's big time and is up on a stage everybody wants to be his friend. Must be a very brutal process going through that and realizing most people are not worth a damn. Nobody helps you to get where you need to go, well very very few do, but everybody loves to be around the end result. Society and people in general sicken me to the bone.
Once he said, he can bring out his feelings only in songs. Perhaps his girls don´t listen to his songs, or he sings them, when it´s too late.... Who are these women he's talking about and when can I give them a good shake for an opportunity missed? Of course, I'm not blind to the fact that to play love's game takes two, and it makes me wonder who Ville truly is to have such fun and misfortunes, likewise, but it seems to me that I'm one of those who love so faithfully and blindly that I'd be the one getting hurt all the time. I don't understand relationships these days. The song touches me but I still can't relate.
I can only imagine how many people (not just women) judged him and called him "too crazy", but now that he's up on a stage, in front of a camera, these people worship him and want to get close... This is the first time I listen to this since me and my ex broke it off whom I already bought a ring for and she completely stab me in the back, she tried very poorly to get me thrown in prison, I just realized it's mainly the woman's point of view in the chorus, at least for me it is I always look like a lost puppy hence I was very disarming to her and they made her feel less empty, I also feel like "tell me how you love me with all of your heart no" is heard during all the breakups more telling me to Let Her Go basically, and I broke all the rules being the one-sided party, and then the bit at the end tell me how much it hurts my love and tell me how my kiss can change your world that's just her gloating over leaving me hanging, bragging about how much control she has over me or did I should say I dunno...
I mean he says it's about past girls and what not, but than at almost the 3 minute mark he starts getting a little chocked up and says it's about "people pulling the carpet from under you" so maybe the Bam video has a little truth to it
What happened with bam? Tbh I've lost track over the years of that guy after Ryan passed he just changed and I use to be a big fan but idk his changed a lot I sorta don't like it
Bam put up a video a couple months ago saying that this song was about him, Ville and Bam apparently haven't talked to each other for years and after Ryan died Bam got really depressed obviously and I guess finally came to the realization that he's destroyed a lot more than what he's built in friendships over the years, He put up a second video stating that he's finally ready to admit that he was wrong and ready to go on with his life and hopefully recoup a friendship with Ville and get back to skateboarding and being more productive again. I've always been a fan of Bam and it's sad to see someone who for years you think has it all, actually doesn't.

This isn't true, Ville has confirmed it is not about Bam. Bam is just a paranoid obsessed idiot. Ville has talked about 666 and 777 for years. He likes the symbolism of the numbers.
