Congress leader and Himachal Pradesh Minister - Vikramaditya Singh lands Congress Party into another soup - this time trying to ape Yogi Adityanath's formula of forcing small shopkeepers and roadside stall owners to display the names and ID in the state. This is being done under the guise of 'hygiene' and 'security' - but no one has any doubts over its communal intent - especially when there is a call to boycott business establishments of the minority community.
While the Congress high command expressed 'displeasure' over this political move & reprimanded Vikramaditya - however it's time that Rahul Gandhi commit himself to setting up a 'Mohabbat Ki Dukan' and putting the Constitution over everything else. If the Congress now apes the BJP - what are its own core ideological tenants? It's a question that the Congress will have to answer sooner than later.
