I love Nepal i flown twice to Kathmandu once in day and once at night. In the day flight we saw Everest and the night flight on approach we could just see distant fires in the small villages on the hills outside of Kathmandu...amazing! Lovely people in Nepal!!

I flew to Kathmandu from Delhi 30 years ago and it truly is one of the most spectacular flights I know of!!! We also did a Himalaya flight whilst we were there but I got so motion sick, I missed much of it!

Reminded me of the time when I was 13-14 years old and I used to go to this grass field right outside the fence of this particular airport in Kathmandu in the evenings and lie there on my back lining up straight with the runway and watch huge planes land and take off and fly right over me. I can’t explain how that felt. It was a little scary I’m not gonna lie 😅. I lived only 10 mins away from there.

When you are flying along the Himalayas in a big commercial plane on the cruising altitude and peaks are at your height it is just mind blowing. Experienced that 4 times on the way in and out of Kathmandu, made some amazing photos, still can't believe I saw that with my own eyes 😍 Have to go back to Nepal some day, love the country and Himalaya

I can't imagine how many passports you have filled up!😉 But flying is more than just the aircraft it is the people who work on it everyday, the people you meet on the plane, then of course it is the service, comfort, for both economy and 1st class. I do like how you are branching out and showing that city or country more I love it. When you were Beruit I had to show a couple good friends from their that own a restaurant that iis my favorite and they both were so thrilled.
