Nepali listeners have not evolved yet for this level of Music. This is the Epitome. 20 years from now,they would be able to comprehend the class of these compositions.
The best jazz band Nepal ever produced nor will it again. Their level of music is so high it will take ages for the general public to understand. I could go on writing a literature about them here but cannot hence have shortened it. Cadenza is the only band from Nepali community and their choice of music is at level to US listeners. Much ahead of time they came and sadly gone I suppose. Their jazz theme is mixed with sometimes east/west combo; sometimes blues with rock. The flow of saxaphone merged with folk nepali authentic vocals is mind blowingly awesome. I opine their music delivers a different cuisine taste to music lovers specially for the elderly folks group who all have matured from rock, blues to jazz ultimately. The ethnic instrumental licks coming in between brings ecstacy to mind and soul. What a band !!! Proud of Nepalese. Just that people need to mature and upgrade their choices. Thats all. Had they been in US..they would already be in chart busters...but sadly there are in Nepal where choices are plain and simple, yet to advance. Long live and play for us CADENZA.
This comment intrigues me to jot down the comment. The people should uplift their taste in music. Jazz and blues music at this level especially in Nepali is an outstanding achievement. Neither they can be compared nor conquered. My goodness, this music makes me fly. Flawless, and smooth.Really @samuel they are indeed ahead of time.
