Himalung Himal (Mount Himalung) is located at an altitude of 7126 meters northeast of Annapurna in the lap of Mansalu and Annapurna region. The mountain is near the Tibetan border in the fu vdc corner of the remote Manang district of Nepal. Himalung Himal was first climbed by a Japanese team in 1992 and many more. The mountain is technically easy to climb although due to its own shade, thick snow area and extreme humidity, it is not as easy as it is expected.
