Fern is so cute with how she just doesn’t know how to act around boys her age since she has never been exposed to boys much, if at all. Both her and stark are really awkward in their own ways which causes clashes, but at the same time its what makes them fit 😂
Notice that Fern's bracelet the Lotus is in full bloom, showing that love has or will blossom fully into it's full form. Frieren's ring, however, is still a simple bud and hasn't bloomed yet, showing that Himmel's love will never fully come to fruition, even if it still exists and is still eternal.
