Hinatch says “This is an overdrive pedal that has an amazing low-end response”. If you use Mode 1 as your go-to bass overdrive, Mode 2 would be your clean boost. If you want to get detailed with the touch of your fingers and keep the dry signal intact, we recommend trying Mode 2 for that. This makes sense as we’ve seen a lot of bass players using Mode 2 on Plumes as a boost pedal. This mode is also great for pairing with other dirt pedals and pushing your tube amps!
Mode 3 has a spongy fuzzy feel to it but has a dry signal underneath so it will still cut through even if you set the gain high. If you’re looking for something a little different, please give this mode a try!
