Hi. Nice post. I have Home theater with only one HDMI arc port. (Philips htd3520g). Mi box 4k, and dell projector with vga port. I have connected mi box to projector using HDMI converter, but I have to get audio only through optical or Bluetooth. Do you have any idea how to connect to get HDMI audio.

Hi, thank you for sharing the informations, liked your content. I have a question, if you could help me. I am looking for speaker/especially sound bar to connect via Bluetooth. But i am looking to place the sound bar opposite to tv which is about 20 foot distance, where we have sitting arrangements. I don’t like high volume so my main reason is to place speaker/sound bar at our sitting side. Now i am concerned if Bluetooth would be successful to connect this long and without having any latency in audio listening. I hope my question is clear, kindly suggest. Thank you.

First ensure that your tv has bluetooth and support for bluetooth speaker or soundbar. Now second question 20 feet is far enough distance, it depends and tv and soundbar bluetooth range or their quality. If they are in line of sight it is possible but may also have some distortion. 10-15 feet I have tested bluetooth headphone with tv and they are working well in line of sight.

@@NewTechWorldwithTej i just bought sony 50”, model x74, Bluetooth 5.0. And looking for sound bar with Bluetooth 5.0 only. If Bluetooth creates disturbance while playing audios, i will then plug them thru hdmi (arc) port. So now another question is, do we have hdmi cable this long, atleast 25-30Foot cable to attach both the devices. I don’t know how people are using sound bars while sitting at distance of 20 feet, they must be going with high volume which is bothering their other family members, neighbors & spoiling their ears too. My only concern to all these expenses is to watch movies at low volume with clear audio. Kindly share your experience & advise, sorry for this long message.

Aap tv ke hdmi earc port se soundbar ke arc port se connect kar sakte hain. Use hdmi 2.1 version cable. Buy netflix uhd plan and select video quality as best in app settings. Now play any atmos content for atmos sound effects.

@@sandiptalekar6188 select soundbar input as TV or hdmi, turn off hdmi cec in tv settings. Connect only sound soundbar and remove other hdmi devices. Now restart tv and soundbar and check.

Sometimes there are issues in hdmi arc conntion however optical it works fine. You can remove all hdmi conntion than restart tv now again plug in hdmi arc. First and test sound. Now plug in firestick and dth. Also turn of smart remote of soundbar using hdmi cec. Also turn off hdmi cec for each hdmi devices or in tv settings and try again to test.

Sir, ek baat aur puchni thi.. Ki agar main soundbar ko led ke sath optical cable se attach krunga to jo audio sun-ne ko milegi us audio ka hdmi arc ke comparision kitni fark padega.. Meri led mein..dolby atmos.. Pass through aur digital dolby ka function to hai but bus hdmi arc ki port nahi hai..kya koi solution hai?

it should work, update your windows 10 or 11 laptop, download netflix app from microsoft store. take uhd plan, good internet connection you may get atmos on laptop also. For monitor check that you have hdmi 2.0 or 2.1 port in laptop. laptop graphics card support 4k resolution. you are good to go.

Optical port se connect karne par do remote use karne padenge. But kuch smart tv ke remote me universal remote ka feature hota hai usme ek hi remote se optical mode me bhi sound control ho jayegi

Thank you for this information, mera question ye hay k tv me hdmi erc aur optical nhi hy aur google chromcast with Google tv ko soundbar k hdmi in se aur tv ko soundbar k hdmi out se connect karte hy to sound quality kesi milegi. I mean direct soundbar hdmi erc to tv hdmi erc jesi milegi.

Sir mera Sony Bravia TV KLV-48W652D ka model hai aur usme 2 HDMI port, 1 aux port & 2 USB port hai. HDMI 1 port not working but HDMI 2 port is working. I have JBL Soundbar 2.1 with 2 HDMI ports one is HDMI in & second is HDMI out (TV ARC). Maine JBl Soundbar k in me amazon fire tv stick connect kari thi aur out me tv to soundbar connect kiya tha. Still screen blank aa rahi thi. So please help. Agar TV k settings me kuch enable karna ho to bataaiye aur kaise karna vo bhi. Waiting for your reply

This tv has hdmi arc and aux and digital out may be optical you can connect using hdmi arc or optical. Hdmi arc mentioned on backside of tv, first hdmi from right side is hdmi arc search in Google sony kdl 43 950d ports and see images.

Connect TV to set top box using hdmi cable and from tv to soundbar using optical cable. Alternatively connect set to box to soundbar using optical and tv to set top box with hdmi

We can connect mi TV stick /fire to sound ar's hdmi in and then connect a HDMI cable to soundbar's hdmi arc and TV's hdmi in. It's streaming video well but there is no audio.how to fix it ?

Sir I buy Sony HT S40 R soundbar which has HDMI ARC ,Optical and Analog and Bluetooth option. But in my VU tv there is no HDMI ARC Option. Only Digital Audio Output through Coaxial cable. I am using an Amazon HD fire stick. Please suggest me for the best output of my soundbar and can enjoy the 5.1 sound experience.

Hi i have taken zeb juke bar 700 sound bar recently , im facing a issue in this sound bar , startingly i use to increase sound bar volume till 100% by connecting realme sled 55inch tv throughout hdmi arc , but know i cant increase volume above 40% its locked till 40% , i cant increase above 40% , who can i slove this !

you can buy zebronics 9700 or 9800 pro soundbar around 17-18 k and i suggest go for amazon fire stick 4k max or fire tv cube 4k in place of android set top box like mi android box. Amazon fire tv has better picture quality and performance than android box and most of pupular apps are available on fire tv os.

Some soundbar have hdmi input and output with dolby atmos you have to buy accordingly. And fire tv cube and 4k max support dolby atmos.

you can use hdmi to aux converter, connect one side at hdmi input to converter other end to monitor for video. from aux port connect your speakers. Some monitor has aux out check also if you have one. i don't think there is possibility of 5.1 channel input. it has aux input only. Out is hdmi for video. This is designed for cd player.

Cable ka issue nahi lag raha, check soundbar and tv sound settings. You can also check with other cable for sound issue.

If your soundbar has hdmi in port for sound you can use splitter but I have not tested this configuration. Better you connect firestick to hdmi in port of soundbar and from hdmi out connect with TV any hdmi port for video.

Sir I have zebronics 9700 soundbar. When I connect my MI box 4K to sound bar hdmi in Port and sound bars hdmi out port to HDMI in port of TV the display is not coming in my TV. Where as when I do the same with my Airtel DTH I am getting the display. Can you please resolve this issue.

@@techtracker1869 direct tv me resolution aa raha hai mi box se, tv me connect karke settings me jana hai android box ki aur video settings me resolution ko 1080p 60hz select karna hai. Uske baad soundbar ke hdmi inputs me connect karke source hdmi select karke dekhiye.

May soundcore infini pro soundbar ko airtel set top bix aur Samsung tv me hdmi cable se connect kar ke perfectly dekhta ta. Par haal hi me maine Sun direct ka set top box kharida hai. Par jab set to box ko connect kiya to Tv par Sun direct likha aata hai aur 100% installing hone k baad tv ka screen continuously blue and black hota reheta hai every second. Par channel nehi aata. Par set top box se direct tv connect karne se aya hai.

there are product available to convert tv hdmi arc to optical, but other normal hdmi are port are input only so sound can not be output. tv ki sound settings me audio output manual karke sare option enable karke ekbar restart karo jaise 5.1 channel, dolby, dts etc. Sound output hdmi select karna hai. HDMI cec ko turn off karke bhi check kariye.

Soundbar me hdmi input aur output ports hain ya kewal hdmi arc hai. If you have hdmi input you can get dolby atmos on selected devices like amazon fire tv cube, apple tv, bluray player etc.

Nahi RCA to hdmi converter ulta kaam nahi karta, only hdmi to rca or aux convert hota hai. Connect rca to soundbar using rca to male 3.5mm aux connector. You will get 2.1 channel sound.

agar cpu ko led se hdmi cable se connect kiya hai to tv me sound aani chahiye. Desktop me default sound output check karna padega kya set hai, drivers ka issues bhi ho sakta hai. You can not get atmos using analog, only hdmi earc is required. You need to connect some devices like amazon fire stick max 4k to connect in hdmi in port of soundbar and from hdmi out connect to tv for video. Fire tv cube 4k, apple tv

@@shahenshah568 if soundbar has only l&r or aux cable and Bluetooth than you can use aux cable like 3.5mm to rca cable. On Bluetooth it is hard to notice any difference. If soundbar has optical abd hdmi arc it will produce better output as more bitrate can pass through digital cables. Digital to analog converter like optical to aux or hdmi to aux converter may have little difference.

Aap hdmi arc ke liye hdmi version 1.4 ki cable le sakte hain. Kyoki hdmi arc dolby digital ya dolby digital plus hi use kar sakta hai. Soundbar ki full performance check karne ke liye netflix ya amazon prime video me 5.1 channel ki koi movie ya song chala kar dekh sakte hain.

Mere tv me Arc and opt dono nahi h, lekin audio jack hai, to ussey soundbar se connect krenge to 5.1 surround channel dega kya?? Or tv pe koi mi box ya dth connect nahi karna hai, sirf soundbar ko optical / hdmi arc wire se connect krna hai jo ki meri tv me nahi hai taaki hum dolby audio 5.1 surrounding sound smart tv se le sake to uske liye kya karna padega??

Aux port se 2.1 channel ki sound hi milegi. For getting 5.1 channel sound from tv without optical and hdmi arc is not possible. You need to connect streaming box with hdmi to optical converter with soundbar or directly connect to soundbar with optical if that streaming device has optical port.

@@snehnagvlogsandreactions TV is a video input device only through optical and hdmi arc we can get high bandwidth audio channels for soundbar. Using aux and bluetooth it is not possible. Some old TV have separate rca connector to out 5.1 channels, in that case receiver should also have all 5.1 channels audio inputs via rca connectors.

Using headphone jack you will get 2.1 channel in sound bar. As there is no hdmi arc or optical port I don't think there is way to get 5.1 channels from tv. You need a hdmi to optical converter and connect a streaming device or set top box to get 5.1 channel in soundbar.
