Mujhe mere distributor se OAC ka option mil gaya hai sir lekin youtube par maine jo songs daale hain wo as a label channel par hai mere khudke naam ke channel par nahi hai ess case mein mujhe oac claim karne ke liye kya karna hoga..khud ke naam se channel banana padega..? I have released a song today on all streaming platforms. An automatically created topic channel has uploaded the audio as well. My channel isn't an artist channel yet as i have just requested for it and it's in process. Do i upload my audio on my channel as well or wait till the process is completed? I am confused as no one is able to comment on the topic audio

You can't, record labels are not artists, they are companies. You can verify your channels with a 'tick mark' sign, but can't convert it into OAC. You can convert channels of your label artists into OAC

Don't worry, be patient. It sometimes takes weeks to update the music sign on every device coz this is a big change. You'll be getting emails for some weeks with the updates RU-vid will do to your account. It'll show, don't worry.

If you release your songs by the same name that your channel name is, then you can convert it into OAC, no worries.

Yes you can release it on TuneCore anytime, doesn't matter if it was on RU-vid first or not, you can get a claim. If you don't want a claim, simply whitelist / allowlist your RU-vid channel by contacting TuneCore customer care

I am already done with OAC but my other Topic Channel was created by RU-vid because some tracks are released from other Record Channels. I contacted Lable regarding the merger of Topic Channel but they said you have to Claim on your own by mailing the RU-vid Team. So I mailed RU-vid but no response from RU-vid they send Autogenerated mail not else. What Should I Do?

its really bad that a creator need some music company to release his song to be taken seriously by youtube , its like making a creator depend on a third party where he can be taken for a ride by these music label

This is a precaution because anyone can upload any music (unofficial remix / covers ) on RU-vid without any restriction, so people who release original music cannot be differentiated like this. You'll have to release it via official distributors who have partnered up with RU-vid so they can differentiate you from the other crowd. Hope this clears your thoughts.

The channel which uploads it earns from that video (the label in this case) and this type of merging is available only for major labels, unfortunately not for independent artists

Topic channel tab banta hai jab aap music release karte ho, OAC jab milega aapko to topic channel aur aapka main channel merge ho jayenge. Topic channel pe aap khud se kabhi bhi videos khud se upload nahi kar sakte. Aap control nahi kar sakte topic channel ko
