Hindi Oud vs Cambodi Oud | Dahn Al Oud Perfume 

Guruji I went to their shop at colaba after watching your video they showed me Cambodian oud costing 12000 rs a tola as well as assam oud costing 10 k and as mentioned in my previous comment the best was the 10k oud from lovely India.. The fragrance stays even after washing my clothes.

I had been to Oman,Sohar.In one of the Oud shops near Lulu he had 1litre viles of brown liquid about 20 viles different varieties stacked rows and columns.My friend bought 3ml in 2 viles.The smell was pungent like liquid leather.I asked the salesboy why arabs wear this pungent liquid.His answer was they like it.He also gave me tester of expensive oud costing 15omr which was even more leathery. I only realized the next day even after bathing when the sweet fragrance was coming out from that spot. Neither my friend knew what he was buying nor this salesboy had any idea. Since years I am great admirer of Oudh but didnt have much awareness on Oudh, thanks for other video where you have shared the attar/oils and perfumes of Imphal Oudh, Meghalaya Oudh. Where to buy from?? Real Oudh perfumes and attar in small quantities but many brands. I followed your details of video and contacted Naaz and SKM Ayub who hails their foundation from Kannuaj

Note that entry of big french perfume houses into the middle east market is to get a market share as any real oudh based perfume is very expensive. I have been in the perfume industry in manufacturing for over 25 years. Do agree with you oudh al anfar is a good name for oudh.

Till now are these ouds most cheap and best?

Well! Cambodian is far more superior... I have been using these for 5-6 years and have 6-7 varieties of it and a few from India too and from my experience Indian are lighter, woody and leathery; while Cambodian are strong and more mature & richer versions with same woody and leathery notes.

Nikhilbhai, i bought hindi oud from Sy Md ayub md yakub... But after more than 1.30 hr leathery smell gone away but still it is not smelling... How long should it take to smell like oud.. Please suggest

Nikhilji, I need your help. I purchased Dehnal Oud Hindi from S Md Ayyub Md Yaqub and as you say, the smell is quite strong. Not sure how I should use it. Will it change after some time as you say? Or can I layer it with something else. Please help. I am willing to go with your advice and use it with patience.

Sir I went to a mall and found something which I have heard only but got today came to smell and really it's something more then some perfume and deodorant ... Asked the shop person he introduced me with blue oud I don't know wt was that smell but something which is truly different when I applied and aftr 3 hours when I came home I just got the smell and it was totally different so searched in RU-vid and found ur video and then I came to know about the different smell thank u very much now am waiting to buy the hindi oud for my father and am sure as u described it he will definitely love the smell

Surprisingly they said "Hindi Seufi Oudh" is rarely available and it comes from Dubai store. Nevertheless, could you please let me know where I can buy this. Later I end up buying few floral based attars from this store and other attars from Ajmal store. Cheers!

Oodh from India Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (Allah be please with them both) narrated that the prophet (peace be upon him) loved that Oodh which was known as Qumara.' Qumara is the name of a type of Oodh which grows in India. (Sirat Volume 7, Page 537)

All these oudh making companies have their roots in Assam, all run by Bengali Muslims based in and around Hojai town. The problem is that depletion or near extinction of our own agarwood trees is a consequence of their illegal harvesting of these trees in millions. Hope they realize this start giving back some of it for afforestation cause.
