@@pr1nce0fh3ll9 he still had many years to improve, he could probably reach yorichii and even if he cant he still could be the 2nd strongest hashira to have ever lived, its just that after defeating muzan there was no point to train any further.

Thats not Rengokus sword lol. It is his hilt, but the sword was a custom made sword for Tanjiro. Tanjiro decided to use the hilt since he recieved it from Rengoku.
The sword with the flame thingy and the sword is still black which means that it's a real sword, not rengoku's he got the flame thingy just for the remembrance of Rengoku
