Hioki 3288-20 HiTester True RMS AC DC Current Clamp Meter Unboxing and Testing [CC] 

Hello! In this video I will take you on a walkthrough of my True RMS, AC DC current clamp meter, the Hioki 3288-20. The manufacturer designed it to be simple, lightweight, and easy to use. Only the basic functions were included. Once you press the zero adjust button, the display shows zero until you take a DC measurement. However, just for consistent accuracy, always press the zero adjust button again immediately before next measurement, even if the display shows zero. This is to avoid possible deviations from the reading, and a normal procedure for DC current clamp meters.
It did not have a backlight, however. Frequency was not available. The rated current can go from 1A to 1000A, AC/DC. But I have tested minimum current down to 0.6A. It's a good, compact clamp meter for AC/DC power systems inspection, within it CAT ratings. Made in Japan. Thank you for watching and for your support! Stay safe, guys.
