@@ennamorgan Hmmm...Since @KimRMusic does say M&Y are her inspiration, maybe a kinder phrase would be 'recreation tribute'? I can totally understand wanting to take on the challenge of recreating that marvelous routine, to see if I could master it (who am I kidding, LOL, I would never be able to master that routine, no matter how much yellow fringe I wear, LOL). I do, however, think it would be appropriate for @KimRMusic to give credit to the original dancers in her description since that routine is so iconic and so closely associated with M&Y.
@@KimRMusic Wow! Only 15 and already dancing so beautifully! Kudos! Please keep dancing and challenging yourself, recording your performances and posting them so we can follow your dance career!! ❤️👍‼️👏
@trishconnerywalkup9056 Don't demonise me by re-interpreting my words. The word 'knock-off' is used very widely in various contexts, in a plethora of industries, and in none of them is does it imply anything pathological. Besides, keep in mind that in my comment I was agreeing with what you said. Prior to reading your comment, I thought the dance was absolutely divine, but after reading your comment I looked up the video you referenced and found that it was indeed, an exact replica. But I agree with you (again) one should be kind. And being kind would be to not bring attention to the fact that the dance was a replica. That would have indeed been kind.
