uhh have you ever heard of Converge?

I almost lost my shit when he said ABR was just like ever other metalcore band. That is one of the most insane statements ever. ABR is one of the best and most unique metal bands to have ever existed.

Their early stuff maybe, but Leveler (which Empire is off of) and beyond are FAR from generic metalcore. I have yet to find a band that makes the same kind of unique yet perfect sound they have.

They've always been consistently good though, probably my favorite metalcore band. That's awesome dude, I've only seen them 6x (7 this August) and they always bring it

@Derek Charette As a christian and a metal fan, August Burns Red is everything to me. I'm not saying they are the best metalcore band out there, but they are the best at bringing Christian morals to the metal scene. I do agree with you that he didn't seem all that into it, but I do think August Burns Red is one of a kind for what I mentioned before.

@Derek Charette agreed. i like the band, they are talented at what they do, ive listened to all the albums, beyond that ...eh. i get why ppl hold them on such a high pedestal.. but i think every one has a band like that.. tbh for me, the blood brothers last 3 major releases are those. and ppl laugh in my face for liking them, but w/e they have a sound that i have yet to find be replicated even remotely closely, which i cant say for ABR or metalcore in general lol also the fact the alex whoms channel is about listening to more metal bands.. was literally about to say (up until the gang vocals) "i was about to say they sound like every other metalcore band with no differential factors" lmao, kinda proves your point

@@DeathShark00 Couldn't disagree more. Listen to songs like Majoring in the Minors or Internal Cannon by August Burns Red and I guarantee your opinion will do a 180. They are one of a couple of bands that keep "Metalcore" interesting and enjoyable.
