I remember getting the cassette of poverty’s paradise and it changed my life when I was 14 growing up in the north of England... I loved that tape and I carried it everywhere for about 3 years...

POVERTY'S PARADISE is their very best and most complete album. What KayGee did on this production wise is ridiculously underrated. And what Treach did on this lyrically is nothing short of epic. That lyrical performance is to Naughty/Treach what Illmatic is to Nas.

I remembered meeting Treach back when I was Teenager his girlfriend had the same hospital room as a my step mom cool dude. I still love feel my flow.

Lets keep it 100...that Grammy should’ve went to Bone Thugs! I love Naughty...grew up on NBN and still bump thier music today...but they got lucky on this. This was the same year that Bone Thugs “East 1999 Eternal” album came out! If Bone released “Tha Crossroads” as thier first single they would’ve most def won this grammy. They STILL should’ve got it with First Of Tha Month alone!!! Naughty’s “Feel Me Flow” is a classic and “Craziest” is a dope track (dont really care for Clap Yo Hands) and the album itself is good...but First Of Tha Month, East 1999, and THA CROSSROADS? The album East 1999 has now sold well over 10 million copies which makes it a certified diamond record! Tha Crossroads alone went double platinum in the first few weeks it was released. The timing of the release for Tha Crossroads is the game changer here. At least it went to a group I like tho
