Hey guy, I want to clear some things up about copy Andrew Huang’s video. We are pretty much copying the video but we don’t mean to capitalize on his success. It’s just a very good video idea/format and we thought our audience would like to see it among our tight community of producers. I apologize if anyone is offended by it. Please if you are unfamiliar with Andrew Huang, go check out his content and show him some love, he is one of the best musicians on RU-vid: ru-vid.com
| I see no prob here, ppl flip the same samples all the time in hip-hop. It's just never showcased like this showing all members flipping it in ONE vid lol. Glad a hip-hop version was done tho
Hears Chris Punsalan's beat: cool sample where's this sample from? Hears Sikky Beats's beat: cool sample where's this sample from? Hears EdTalenti's beat: *cool sample where the fuck did this come from!?*
I care that he’s being a child about it. “Pretty much copying”. No, not pretty much, it’s just copying. I don’t care that he copies, all great ideas get copied and iterated. He should just say, yea this is Andy’s idea, here is what we’re doing with it.
@@sammygrimz4633 ehhh, maybe. But by flipping samples and gaining experience with it through experimentation, you can discover and develop your own way of flipping samples in unique ways. A big part of learning to be creative is experimentation, trial and error lol.
The samples in a nutshell (or at least what I can conclude from them): Simon: Fiery 808 God Chris: Melodic Instrument Master Edtalenti: Trap Lord Sikky: Funky/Feel-Good Ace Overall: Absolutely amazing.
LOL i said the same thing about self... F am i doing with my life... my production is TRASH !!! (it was semi 🔥before i watched this ) back to the drawing board for me...
It's so hard to do something someone else is doing when originality is so highly valued in the community. Absolutely loved all the beats! They all had something special to each of them!
I love Simons way of editing his videos it adds a bit of humor to it and makes the video 10x more entertaining than it already was much love Simon ❤️🤍❤️
You killed bwoy. I watched it over on Chris channel and I told him you are the winner. That 2nd drop with the descending 808 is special, just took it away. Good job servida
You should watch Andrew Huang's vid with Virtual Riot, his beat is almost completely made out of the sample, you could probably learn a lot from that aswell!
You should do a subscriber sample contest. All of your subscribers send in a sample, then, the top 3 people from that sub-contest use a sample that you’ve made to make a beat, then the best one gets a prize (Your drumkit, speakers, fl studio, a midi keyboard etc)
I like how every single one of them could’ve just made a simple lofi beat and been done with it, but they all chose to make something really unique out of it
#3 was by far the best commercial track; Guy could sell that. #4 was the most intricate and really pushed the depth and complexity of a melody. #2 is what i'd probably most like to listen to again.
