Man, I got the exact same haircut back in July of 2014... Almost started crying (and my hair was only two inches long)! I could only imagine being devastated after losing so much time and effort after two years and watching my results fall to the floor like that! You kept your cool, though... kudos to you! It's not a bad cut on you, suits your face well. Makes you look like a soldier or something. Sucks we won't be seeing any more hair videos from you, but thanks for making the ones you did. You should keep us updated on your hair growth again, and never judge your badass hair! It looked great, if anything I'd recommend a more straighter hair style to fit with your facial aesthetic, and a side part.
You lucky man. Some schools don't allow hair past the collar, like mine. Although, I will be trying to grow it out long now since I'm not restricted anymore from my new school. I'm aiming for about a foot of hair. Right now, I actually have a mullet so I already have about 6 inches in the back and about 3 in the front. I'm guessing that by the end of 2015, I will have reached my goal.
where is currently? i know your hair grows so fast and massive, must say though you might try one and half and get what i call a serious buzz cut, what do you think about that? it would give yo many years to return several years to accomplish
I've observed that if a guy grows out his hair and then cuts it, most often because he wants to start over, he can never again recover that length. Societal pressure is too great. This guy went a longer time than most the second time around, but even he couldn't pull it off.
Is anyone else thinking the same thing I am? Why in blazes didn't she cut most of his hair off with scissors, THEN use the clippers? I wouldn't be a bit surprised if his scalp was irritated after all that!
Too short or not short enough. Perhaps too short because your long hair was great. But perhaps not enough, because you would look more handsome and more manly with a really short hairstyle (for example : a flattop with faded back and sides).
So sad to see this hairdresser raging with the clippers through his gorgeous long hair with no idea of creating awesome hairstyles with such hair and just giving him a boring buzzcut.

Thank God you have finally come to your senses and have made the right decision. It's a sign of maturity, when a man asks to be shorn. To feel the clippers is such a liberating thing for a man, isn't it?
Much better now! I also had to learn that a man may admire the wonderful long hairs of women, but himself should make sure that his own hair is cut short.

Long hair can be great on anyone as long as they take care of it. I'm growing mine out to shoulder length. There is going to be some rough days but you must be strong.
