Technically, their is no question mark in Japanese written language, since most questions will end in the particle か(ka). That being said, question marks are actually pretty popular in informal writing and in manga. The use of a question mark is completely optional. In colloquial Japanese you may see question marks used when a question doesn't end with か(ka) such as 何? Nani? (What?), or 元気? Genki? (Are you feeling good?).
