What is the English sound for the romaji P in the word Harappa ? To me, you sounded like the English B. Please clarify this with me! 🙏🏻
@Hamusuke-japanese
@Hamusuke-japanese 11 месяцев назад
Thanks for the comment!☺ I think the "pa" in "harappa" corresponds to the English "p". However, the "p" in Japanese is not pronounced with only consonants as in English, but with a strong vowel sound. Example: "ha-rappa (a) ↑Pronounce with "a" in mind It is very difficult to explain the pronunciation. Sorry for my poor explanation. Thank you.

hi. one question, Why /きり kiri/ 6:45 has two pronounciations? I Finished
@Hamusuke-japanese
@Hamusuke-japanese 11 месяцев назад
Thanks for your comment! Sorry for the confusion. I think that "kiri" can be pronounced either way, so I ended up with two pronunciations. It should have been unified into one pronunciation. By the way, the pronunciation may change depending on the context. When describing fog in a sentence, use "kore wa ki↑ri↓ desu." For fog in colloquial language, use "Kiri↑da!" Japanese pronunciation is confusing, but I think that when the speaker seems to be in high spirits, the ending tends to be high.
