A December visit to Hirakawa Zoo in Kagoshima, Japan Kyushu. The zoo was well laid out, easy to walk, and a lot of fun. The enclosures were pretty small for the animals, but the grounds were well maintained. It is very family friendly and an easy way to spend half a day or more. Entrance fees were only a few dollars per person.
