Where I come from back in the day. Garbage man was a very wall paying job. We never complained, we even worked for the mafia and most of us Didn't even know it, but everyday we came home stinking but we were happy for it, because we were working. We didn't complain when there was trash on the street. And we get worried about the broken cans. We did our job, we came home and collected the paycheck just like any other job.. People today complain way too much about the smallest things. And most of the time, they are things that don't even matter..

@@kwengface1185 because time is money. At my job we got paid the full 8 hours no matter when we finished the route. Task oriented job. So he quicker you got done the quicker you punched out and the more of the day you had to yourself. Which means the more guys want you in their crew. Conversely the slower you were the less liked you were
