At Aomori Prefecture Gokoku Shrine, located within the park, the ``Aomori Prefecture Gokoku Shrine Annual Festival'' will be held on April 28th and 29th, at the same time as the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival.
At that time, a troupe of mountain climbing musicians who perform during the "Oyama Pilgrimage," an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property, which is an event to worship at the inner shrine of Iwakiyama Shrine on the summit of Mt. Iwaki on August 1st of the lunar calendar, will also parade through the park. .
