This is a video of the Tsugaru-han Neputa Museum in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture.
The Neputa Festival is one of the most famous festivals in Japan.
Neputa is often inspired by Japanese myths and samurai.
It is held every summer in Aomori Prefecture.
However, due to the effects of the coronavirus, it has been cancelled for 2020.
The name of the festival changes slightly depending on the region of Aomori Prefecture, such as Nebuta or Neputa.
Typical examples are Aomori Nebuta in Aomori City, Hirosaki Neputa in Hirosaki City and Tachi Neputa in Goshogawara City.
In the Tsugaru-han Neputa Museum, you can see Hirosaki Neputa all year round.
