As a young girl my Grandmother had planned to go into the city that day, but her friend had a headache so they stayed home which was in the outskirts of Hiroshima. She was in front of a window which was covered in paper because a previous bomb explosion had blown out the glass. She recalled the flash of light, the deafening sound of the atomic bomb explosion and the paper from the window blowing into her face. Fortunately they were far enough away from the epicenter of the blast to have survived. She tended to other survivors and fed them musubi. It's hard to imagine the horror she experienced, but she persevered and later had four healthy children. She passed away peacefully in her sleep due to old age, but her memory remains. Never take life for granted. Be grateful for what you have now because you never know what will happen. I pray that humanity never has to endure another tragedy like this.
For a millisecond, heroshima and Nagasaki were hotter than the sun's core! Temperature of the cities were a hundred million degrees celsius while temperature of sun's core is just 15 million degrees celsius.
