Hiroyuki Endo is a very versatile player. The man smashes damn hard from the back when the pair is going aggressive, and switches with watanabe to the front for that little bit extra boost in defense when the pair is playing defensive. he still killed the shuttle damn well at the front too though, and that versatility is really great to watch Last but not least, i need to know what hair products he's using. It looks stylish and sleek for entire game

One of my favorite men doubles player ever. He’s so calm and collective all the time. I feel like he was very underrated and under appreciated as a badminton player. He’s so overshadowed by other players bc he never really won a big tittles until he was paired with Watanabe. Back then I’ve always thought that if he had a better partner, he would accomplished so much more. He carried the team when he was playing with Hayakawa. I’m very happy people started to notice his talent and his sportsmanship but sadly he’s now retired. Regardless, he’s a badminton legend in my eyes.

The best ALL AROUND MD player Japan might have ever produced. - Hard Hitter and clever backcourt player (his deceptive skills are better than Gideon, his smashes have always been over-shadowed by players like Fu HF , Tan Bong Heong, YYS, GOh.. now those Backcourt legends retired He can shine) - On defense He reminds me LYD style now, calm and controlled replys very useful in the late games. I did not imagined it will become a trademark for the pair. The Yuta parternship is working so well that he can even challenge Kevin at the front or during flat exchanges. A rare level of patience for a backcourt player allowing him to switch from defensive to offensive much more dangerously. Yuta role might have helped him unleash his creativity, He knows He got cover from his speedy partner.

I though Watanabe would outperformed him because Watanabe is young, fast and skillfull. But I was wrong. Not just he’s faster, defensively good, Read his opponent very well but also a great smasher.

That is a little bit of overstatement. Endo is a great player and has a remarkable defence but how can he be the best of all time if he was never the best in his prime. I mean he never got 1st bwf ranking.

He is very good but not all time level... The most outstanding one is Watanabe... He is in the same level with Kevin Sanjaya despite he is younger. Yuta has potential to become all time legends like Fu Haifeng, Cai Yun, Lee Yong Dae, Zhang Nan, and Hendra Setiawan...

@@haziq12ish lol more successful with Hayakawa??? He never won any Super Series with that guy, just a bunch of runner up medals but with Yuta Watanabe, he won a few BWF Super Tour including the elusive All England which he flop three times with Hayakawa

the "boring" aspect of his play is what helps him win. he can catch his opponents off-guard easier, especially in the front. that calm demeanor compliments Watanabe's energetic plays
